DM-100

The worlds first full color Organic LED 52mm gauge just got better! With 6 SEMA awards in 2006, it is truly the only universal gauge on the market today. Two new sensor modules have just been added to the iMFD family. The SM-AIT for precise air intake temperature measurements and the SM-Vac/Boost, ideal for turbo or supercharged applications, will be ready to ship by early June 2007. More sensor modules are planned for release later this year, including the SM-OBD2/CAN. Since the DM-100 gauge is 100% universal, no upgrade in hardware is necessary to read new sensors modules. The DM-100 automatically detects new iMFD sensor modules as they are added.

SM-AIT

Designed to accurately measure the air intake temperature of any intake manifold. This is ideal for intercooler, or aftercooler applications. Any K-Type thermocouple is compatible.

SM-Vac/Boost

Digital 3 Bar Vacuum-Boost sensor accurately measures the vacuum pressure and boost pressure of any intake manifold. This is ideal for turbo and supercharged applications.

Are you Overboosting?

Have a turbo charger? How do you REALLY know if you’re overboosting? With a standard needle boost gauge, how do you know if your intake manifold pressure spikes 5,6 or even 10 PSI above your safety limit? Overboosting for even a fraction of a second can cause severe damage to your engine, especially if it goes undetected for extensive periods of time. With a standard needle boost gauge, it’s almost impossible you’ll see the needle move with your eyes. Mechanical or even stepper motor needles simply can’t react fast enough for you to see the sudden spike. With the DM-100 and the SM-Vac/Boost, you’ll be able see clearly if you’re overboosting. An adjustment to your wastegate or boost controller can then be made to correct the problem. Just another way PLX makes it easier for you to monitor your vehicle’s performance!
