Introduction:
Finally! A product solution that allows AutoMeter air/fuel ratio gauges to displays WIDEBAND information! The M-Series Narrowband to Wideband Gauge Converter interfaces with any AutoMeter air/fuel ratio gauge to display your vehicle's air/fuel ratio in a fully LINEAR fashion! Must be used with PLX M-Series Wideband controller.
Compatibility with other gauges:
The AutoMeter Air/Fuel ratio gauge is designed to read a 0-1V input signal and mapped perfectly linearly with the 20 sweeping LEDs from left to right. Other gauges which can accept a 0-1V input signal (most narrowband gauges are) will also be compatible to work with this converter box.
Description:
The M-Series Narrowband to Wideband Gauge Converter is a small inexpensive device used to connect between the M-Series' wideband output signal and the input signal to any AutoMeter air/fuel ratio gauge. When no LEDs are on, the measured air/fuel ratio is 20.0:1 or more. When the LED at the 5 o clock position is on, the measured air/fuel ratio is 10.0:1 or less. Each adjacent LED corresponds to exactly a change of 0.5:1 air/fuel ratio.
