iMFD SM to USB Adapter

The SM to USB adapter is a low cost solution to data logging all of your iMFD sensors in real-time to the PC. It's operation is simple. The SM to USB adapter simply converts the iMFD serial stream into USB for your PC to recognize and interpret the incoming data. Data is constant at 10Hz regardless of the number of sensors you have connected to the iMFD daisy-chain. This adapter is fully compatible with PLX Logger 3.0 (Free license). This is great to have if you're on the dyno and you have a laptop handy to log all your data. Remember that with a DM-100/200 OBD, you have access to 4 programmable sensors that you can stream through the iMFD Daisy Chain. This feature is commonly used for picking up vehicle speed, RPM, Load, and Throttle Position.

iMFD Data Logger

The iMFD Data Logger is ideal for tuning, race track, drag and autocross applications where absolute performance monitoring is vital. The iMFD Data Logger features a 10Hz sampling rate regardless of the number of sensors you have connected to the iMFD daisy chain. It features, an internal memory capable of storing up to 100 sessions, and *8 hours of data. The iMFD Data Logger also offers some of the features available on our DM product line. You’ll be able to navigate and view ALL of your sensors connected to the iMFD daisy-chain in Analog, Plot, and Numeric form. Recorded data can be played back to the PC in real-time or through all PLX iMFD Display Modules (DM). This gives you the ability to replay your runs in the comfort of the pit or at home. Stored data can be downloaded to the PC and analyzed on PLX Logger 3.0 (no license required).

Kiwi Wifi

Kiwi Wifi is a great solution for the casual tuner or automotive enthusiast. Kiwi Wifi connects to your OBDII port and wirelessly transmits your vehicle data to a 3rd party device such as an iPhone/iPod Touch or PC with Wifi. Three software applications are available for data logging OBDII data with Kiwi Wifi.

1) Rev for iPhone/iPod touch - Data Logging is saved and exported as a CSV file for spreadsheet analysis.

2) DashCommand for iPhone/iPod touch - Data Logging is saved and exported as a CSV file and compatible file format for PLX Logger 3.0.

3) FUZZYCar for iPhone/iPod touch - Data Logging is uploaded through the internet and communicated to a web server. You are given a user name and password to log into http://fuzzyluke.com/account/login/

4) PLX Logger 3.0 for PC - Offers powerful Data Logging features. For Wifi connectivity a license is required. For importing data from DashCommand, no license is required.

Kiwi Wifi + iMFD

Kiwi Wifi + iMFD combines the best of both worlds into one product. Since the OBDII port does not offer all the sensors you may want to monitor, the added iMFD sensor support allows you to add up to 32 additional dedicated sensor modules from the PLX product line. This includes wideband Air/Fuel Ratio, Exhaust Gas Temperature, Fluid Temperatures and much more. If you're already an owner of the standard Kiwi Wifi, we offer a $100 upgrade option if you later decide you need iMFD sensor support. The Kiwi Wifi + iMFD is 100% backwards compatible with Kiwi Wifi.

The added benefit of Kiwi Wifi + iMFD is that with every additional iMFD sensor module you add, your performance does not degrade. For example, if you're monitoring only 1 sensor from the OBDII port and your refresh rate is 5Hz, by monitoring 2 sensors, your refresh drops to 2.5Hz and so on. By adding 1 or 32 iMFD sensors, your refresh rate is always kept constant at 10Hz. This results in higher performance monitoring for even the most demanding applications.

1) Rev 2 for iPhone/iPod touch and DashCommand for iPhone/iPad/iPodTouch are compatible with the PLX iMFD serial stream. Data Logging is saved and exported as a CSV file for spreadsheet analysis.

2) Kiwi Wifi + iMFD remains backwards compatible with DashCommand, FUZZYCar. FUZZYCar, currently do not support the PLX iMFD sensor support.
